One of the most cost-effective ways to start or expand your art installations at your airport is through loans. Gallery loans are familiar territory, but if you’re looking to add real excitement to your collection, why not borrow a piece of space history from NASA?

With the second largest collection of artifacts behind the Smithsonian, NASA offers many opportunities to bring artifacts and models to your airport for display. Loans range from entire exhibits to scale models to space suits, all the way up to Space Shuttle Main Engines.

Visit the exhibit site to find out more about how you can request loans from NASA. Other lending sites include the Smithsonian to find out how to get American art exhibits on loan, and the National Lending Service for National Gallery loans.

Interested in hearing more in person? Attend Arts in the Airport, October 16-18, 2017, in Houston, Texas, to hear from Jack Moore, External Relations Office Exhibits Manager, on how you can bring pieces of American space history to your airport.
