This training is tailored to address the unique operational techniques, challenges and responsibilities of the airport communication center dispatcher. It is based on a variety of techniques and recommendations from U.S. government agencies and leading industry communication organizations. The instructor will review the essential elements needed to attain the ACE Communications certification.

Join us for a ten-session series live. If you cannot attend some or all sessions, you will receive the session recordings you can view for 90 days after the series concludes!

Please noteEnrollment to any of the sessions or the full series does not include the ACE Communications Program Fee. In order to take the final examination, you MUST be enrolled in the ACE Communications Program. You will need to register for the ACE Communications Program to take the exam and earn the certification, and to obtain the study materials. Attendees of this training will receive a $100 discount on the program fee if registering at the same time. Daniel A. Morelos, ACE

Tucson, AZ

Daniel Morelos has over 33 Years in the aviation industry employed with the Tucson Airport Authority (TAA). During his tenure, Daniel served in the following positions: - Communications Dispatcher (1986 – 1988) - Lead Dispatcher (1988 – 1996) - Director of Communications/Dispatch (1996 – 2006) - Director of Operations (2006 – 2010) - Director of Safety Programs (2010 – 2019) Under his direction, the Communications/Dispatch Department became an accredited agency by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) in March 2003, becoming the first Airport Communications Center to receive such an award. Daniel is an active member of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officers (APCO). He currently serves on the APCO Standards Development Committee (SDC). In addition, performs consultant services for APCO. He is a certified trainer through APCO and sits on the following public safety communications committees: SDC Training Sub-Committee, Occupational Analysis Sub-Committee, and Incident Handling Process Workgroup (Chair) Memberships and Committees: - Member of the prestigious the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) - Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA). - AAAE/SMS sub-committee and AAAE Training Committee - National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1221 Committee - OSHA-10 General Industry Registered Instructor Daniel instructs the ACE Airport Communications Center Operations Training Course
