Maria Bremis is the Senior Vice President, Compliance, Diversity & Human Resources, for the American Association of Airport Executives. She has been providing legal, compliance, EEO, and human resource services to small and mid-sized non-profits and companies for over 20 years as an advisor, as a practicing employment law attorney, and as the Association’s Senior Vice President of Compliance, Diversity & Human Resources. In her career, Maria has focused on compliance analysis and resolution, EEO and diversity issues, organizational development and workforce planning, policy writing and employee communication, training and development, and overall employee relations. A graduate of The George Washington University Law School, barred in two jurisdictions and having been certified as a professional in human resources, Maria is known for innovative business solutions to complex problems and insightful, balanced guidance, as well as being able to convey difficult information with diplomacy, engaging employees of different personalities and providing thoughtful and entertaining training sessions.
