Jeremy Valcich, C.M., ACE, IACE, is the Director of Regulatory Affairs for the American Association of Airport Executives. In his role, Valcich advocates and represents the airport community’s interests before the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and other federal agencies on issues involving airport operations, safety, planning, compliance, airspace, new entrants, general aviation, and finance. He also provides continuous updates to airport executives regarding regulatory action and key policy developments in the nation’s capital. Valcich also assists the Regulatory Affairs Team by building and cultivating a community of airport and industry professionals through multiple standing AAAE committees. Prior to joining AAAE, Valcich was an Airport Operations Officer at the Southwest Florida International Airport. While at KRSW, Valcich served as the Chair of the AAAE Young Professionals Committee. In this role, he helped develop and implement new professional development, educational, and networking opportunities for the next generation of airport professionals. Valcich continues to work with AAAE’s Young Professionals as a staff liaison. Valcich began his aviation career as an intern with the Operations department at Jackson Hole Airport. He is a 2016 graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics. He is a native of the seacoast of New Hampshire and is an avid Boston sports fan having been a multi-sport athlete growing up.
