Brian Kalish is the Associate Vice President, Communications for the American Association of Airport Executives. Before joining AAAE, he was a communications specialist for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, where he drove external and internal communications strategy for Reagan National and Dulles International Airports, with a focus on capital construction projects. Prior to that, Brian has a decade of experience as a managing editor and reporter in Washington, D.C., New York City and London, covering a variety of topics including publicly traded companies, federal agencies, health care and technology. A native of Long Island, N.Y., he graduated from American University in Washington, D.C., with a B.A. in Journalism and minor in Justice, Law and Society. He is an avid aviation enthusiast who loves to travel, having been to 46 states, and to visit National Parks.
