Alex Remy was born and raised in Fairfax Station, Virginia to a lawyer father and a flight attendant mother. He attended the University of Central Florida for undergrad where he held various student government roles, interned on Capitol Hill, and became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, ultimately obtaining a Bachelors in Political Science upon graduating. After graduating in 2016, he moved to Washington, DC to work in the government affairs sector, holding various roles from political campaign work to direct lobbying. Additionally, Alex began taking flying lessons in 2021, obtaining his Commercial Pilot's License and, subsequently, his Certified Flight Instructor certificate in early 2022. Alex joins AAAE having most recently worked as a Legislative Analyst at Blank Rome Government Relations, assisting clients further their legislative and regulatory priorities through effective communication with Congress and federal agencies. As a federal affairs professional and a lover of aviation, Alex is delighted to be joining AAAE as a Manager in the Federal Affairs department.
