Airport Certified Employee (ACE) Planning & Environmental Review Course

The Airport Certified Employee (ACE) Airport Planning and Environmental Review Course is designed especially for aviation professionals responsible for planning and environmental compliance at commercial service and general aviation airports and aviation-based companies. The certification is based on fundamental federal regulations and policies, research from aviation organizations and generally accepted planning and environmental practices. It explores the diverse components that make-up the airport, including airside and landside facilities, stakeholder participation, master planning, airport layout plan development, and environmental considerations. This course will be an extensive review of the ACE Planning body of knowledge modules to help attendees learn and retain the information and pass the exam.

$1100 - active duty military or federal government (documentation required)

Mark Breukink has more than 25 years of aviation planning and design experience, at airports ranging from large hub commercial service airports to single runway general aviation airports. He is a Vice President for aviation services for Mead & Hunt. Mead & Hunt is a multi-discipline Architecture and Engineering firm with offices nationwide. In 2011 Mead & Hunt was recipient of the American Association of Airport Executives Corporate Cup of Excellence, in recognition for the firm’s long-standing support of airports and the airport management profession. Mark has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and currently resides in DeWitt Michigan with his wife and has two daughters in college and one in medical school.
