Fellow Aviation Industry Colleagues,

On behalf of the Airport Consultants Council, the American Association of Airport Executives, and my fellow Symposium Planning Committee members, I am delighted to invite you to register for the 2023 Airport Planning, Design & Construction Symposium, which will take place March 1-3, 2023, in Anaheim, California.

Last year’s event delivered very relevant and informative content on a variety of topics from diverse perspectives. Walking nearly 12 miles at the convention center in Nashville was also great for my Achilles rehabilitation! I am confident the 2023 Symposium will not disappoint and will build on the momentum we experienced in 2022.

Why You Should Attend

The Planning Committee had 170 topics submitted through the recent Call for Topics, and 280 feedback notes from last year’s symposium to review, and guide us, as we finalize the Track Session Topics and Panels for 2023. We plan to retain the historical technical track structure of: Planning/Environmental, Terminal/Landside, Engineering/Airside, Project Management/Construction Management, and Mini-Tracks, along with the Young Professionals program, and many other opportunities for sharing technical information, networking, and collaborating with our peers and industry partners.

What to Expect

As usual, we will have an impactful program of 25 unique technical workshops focusing on a diverse range of issues. These workshops will highlight topics that:

• provide a high number of accreditation credits;
• capture a variety of industry requested themes such as security, climate change and sustainability, resilience, environmental, social, and governance (ESG), workforce development, and more;
• offer an innovative or futuristic view of where our industry is trending; and
• continue the growth of diversity, equity and inclusion within the aviation industry.

In addition to the workshops, we are energized to deliver another round of great plenary sessions and keynote speakers featuring airlines, airport owners, and other industry partners and aviation celebrities.

Be sure to check the Symposium website periodically for updates on the topics and panelists, as additional details will be continually added to the program as we get closer to the symposium dates.
