ACT Insights: Turning Airport Data into Actionable Procurement Intelligence
The Consortium continues to advance ACT Insights, a pilot initiative aimed at bringing greater clarity and strategic value to the airport procurement process. Nine member airports are actively participating and working alongside PA Consulting to move the effort forward. Through structured document submissions and collaboration, these airports are sharing real-world procurement materials and expertise to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement across the industry. The ultimate goal of ACT Insights is to leverage AI to develop a centralized airport business intelligence repository—equipping airports with deeper insights and smarter tools to strengthen procurement strategy and decision-making across the industry.
ACT Finance Report Featured at AAAE/SEC Finance & Administration Conference
Guy Nagahama of Ramirez & Co. and Ira Smelkinson of Loop Capital Markets, co-authors of the ACT Finance Report, recently presented at the 37th Annual AAAE/SEC Finance & Administration Conference in Amelia Island, FL.
ACT’s Smart Landside Task Force is working with airports to identify priority landside challenges—including curbside management, parking, congestion, emissions, and future mobility—and develop practical, playbook-style guidance to modernize operations using smart technologies. Airports are encouraged to complete a short survey to help shape the Task Force’s focus and inform the development of its playbooks.
As a reminder, the ACT Airside Training Task Force encourages airports to complete this brief survey. Your input will help identify shared challenges at airports and inform the future direction of airport driver and winter operations training. Thank you to the 11 airports that have already participated—your feedback helps strengthen the Consortium’s deliverables for the industry.
