Mentoring & Career Guidance Opportunities
The Academic Relations Committee and the Student Leadership Council host an academic track for college students studying airport management and related fields. There are multiple opportunities for conference attendees to invest in this next generation of aviation leaders to provide guidance, share career insight and help students build valuable industry connections. If you are available to participate, even a small investment of time can make a lasting impact on a student's career trajectory.
SUNDAY, MAY 3
2:30–4:30 PM | Mixer with the Mentors
A fun, high-energy speed networking session where industry professionals share their knowledge and experience with future aviation leaders. You’ll be seated while students rotate every 8–10 minutes to learn from your experiences.
4:30–5:00 PM | One-on-One Mentoring
Get matched with a student to offer guidance and advice on career paths, job search strategies, and professional development. Meet up with them periodically during the conference to help them meet other professionals and learn more about the industry.
MONDAY, MAY 4
9:00 AM–12:00 PM | Career Exploration Fair
Host a tabletop to share career opportunities and talk with students. Organizations can optionally conduct interviews onsite. Can’t attend? We’ll gladly distribute any materials you can send.
