About the Course

Designed to establish a general knowledge base for airport professionals working in the airport Credentialing Office. The curriculum provides important history that helps a Trusted Agent better understand the security platform from which they now are required to work. The course focuses on understanding the complexities that have been continuously added to the requirements for vetting, issuing, tracking and auditing airport credentials and is based on Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations– 1542 series, and TSA Security Directives.

The Credentialing Office is the front door of the airport, and everyone passes through it. Trusted Agents need to clearly understand the critical nature and importance of their responsibilities, so take advantage of this unique course and earn your industry recognized Trusted Agent certification.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Registrations, cancellations and refund requests must be submitted in writing. All cancellation requests for registrations received on or before Wednesday, August 13, 2025, are subject to a $150 cancellation processing fee; approved refunds will be processed after the meeting takes place. There will be no refunds of any kind after this date. Cancellations with outstanding invoices received within two weeks of the start of the conference, will require full payment on the balance due. Refunds will not be provided, and balance dues will not be forgiven for no-shows. Substitutions within the same conference will be accepted without penalties. The difference between member and non-member price will be charged if a non-member replaces a member. Substitutions will be accepted with a written request to Training@aaae.org. The individual substituting for the original registrant is responsible for all financial obligations (balance due; difference in fees due to membership type) associated with that substitution. For all inquiries regarding cancellations, refunds and substitutions, please contact the AAAE Training Department at 703-824-0500 Option 4 or email Training@aaae.org. By submitting a completed registration form, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the cancellation policy. 

The ACE Trusted Agent Program purchase is non-refundable and non-transferable.

NOTE: AAAE reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event if the number of registrants is insufficient; due to acts of God; or any other reason beyond AAAE’s control. In this event, we will notify all registrants and credit the full registration fee towards another AAAE training, product or service. Confirmation letters will be emailed to attendees within one business day of registration. If you have not received an email confirmation of your registration within 3 days of registering, and you enrolled at least two hours prior to the online event, please contact the AAAE Training Department at trainingdept@aaae.org. Please note failure to receive a confirmation letter before an event will not be grounds for a refund.

What is CMAC?

The Civilian/Military Airport Connection (CMAC) program helps separating military personnel and new veterans acclimate from managing military airfields to the dynamic and complex commercial-use airport environment.

There are four components to the program:

  1. Professional transition workshop
  2. One airport certification course - choice of ACE Airfield Operations or Certified Member (C.M.)
  3. One year membership in AAAE
  4. Airport job shadowing

Sessions held at the AAAE Conference Center will take place in the Barclay Building, 601 Madison Street, Third Floor, Alexandria, Virginia 22314, phone 703.824.0500. The review course starts with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, and concludes at 12 p.m. on Friday, September 12. Dress is casual.

All sessions and food functions will take place in the AAAE Conference Center located on the third floor of the AAAE Headquarters Building, directly across the street from the Sheraton Suites Old Town. Each morning you will need to use the buzzer at the front door to enter the building.

Be sure to bring with you the most recent edition of the ACE Trusted Agent Modules (if you wish to), writing utensils, highlighters, and a laptop to take the exam on the final day. A course workbook will be provided to you at the start of class.

Meals: breakfast and lunch will be provided by and take place at AAAE.
