About the Webinar
Anyone who has worked with the public and communities around airports knows that airport noise is often the most controversial and dominant issue in airport-community relations. But many people misunderstand the role of the players in the noise world: the airport proprietors, aircraft operators, the FAA, and the community. With a better understanding of the principles of noise law, airport management, staff and consultants will be able to communicate more effectively with neighbors, elected officials and the community. This webinar provides basic understanding of how airport noise is regulated, who has what authority when it comes to airport noise and will dispel common misunderstandings about what airports and their users can, and cannot, do to address noise problems.
This webinar will fulfill the requirement of 2 Legal CEUs for A.A.E.s for the current cycle.
