About the Course

This class is a think-tank style delivery which combines theory and practice. Participants will bring current, real-life scenarios to the class to identify solutions think-tank style through facilitated discussions with the instructor and the class participants. Each person will walk away with a playbook of solutions and techniques to immediately apply in their role to address any issues or problems requiring their attention.

Cancellation Policy:

Training registration fees are non-refundable. For all inquiries regarding registrations, cancellations and refund requests, please contact the AAAE Training Department by email at training@aaae.org. All inquires must be submitted in writing. All cancellation requests for registrations received on or before Friday, May 15, 2026, are subject to a $150 cancellation processing fee; approved refunds will be processed after the meeting takes place. There will be no refunds of any kind after this date. Cancellations with outstanding invoices received within two weeks of the start of the conference, will require full payment on the balance due. Refunds will not be provided, and balance dues will not be forgiven for no-shows. Substitutions within the same conference will be accepted without penalties. The difference between member and non-member price will be charged if a non-member replaces a member. Substitutions will be accepted with a written request to Training@aaae.org. The individual substituting for the original registrant is responsible for all financial obligations (balance due; difference in fees due to membership type) associated with that substitution. For all inquiries regarding cancellations, refunds and substitutions, please contact the AAAE Training Department at 703.797.9009 or email Training@aaae.org. By submitting a completed registration form, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the cancellation policy.

IMPORTANT: AAAE reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event if the number of registrants is insufficient; due to acts of God; or any other reason beyond AAAE’s control. In this event, we will notify all registrants by email and credit the full registration fee towards another AAAE meeting, product or service. However, any costs incurred by the registrant, such as hotel cancellation or airline penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant. Confirmation emails will be sent to attendees shortly after receipt of registration. However, if you have not received a confirmation email two business days prior to the meeting, and you enrolled at least two weeks prior to the meeting, please contact the AAAE Meetings Department at 703.824.0504 or email AAAEmeetings@aaae.org. Please note failure to receive a confirmation letter before an event will not be grounds for a refund.

Class begins Monday morning with with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 15, and concludes at noon on Wednesday, June 17. Dress is casual.

Meals: breakfast and lunch will be provided by AAAE and take place at OKC.

Instructor

Mindy Price’s professional experience spans more than 25 years of consulting, coaching, change management and enterprise level organizational leadership. Mindy’s approach to the analysis of business operations includes reviewing people, processes and technologies and has proven results in increasing employee engagement, improving processes and reducing waste. The outcomes are quantifiable to demonstrate the return on investment.

Mindy has spoken at many national conferences on leadership, management, change management, communication, and strategy. She has led research projects to identify needs in leadership development and enterprise level programs which resulted in the publication of multiple guidebooks. These guidebooks include facilitation materials, in-depth case studies for analysis, tools for application and guided activities for learning.

She has demonstrated strong organizational assessment, design and development expertise coupled with change management discipline. She uses these competencies through delivery of strategic planning, strategy execution, project management, training, coaching, and organization design. The synthesis of these experiences allows Mindy to blend leadership, process design and technology support from a global, strategic perspective.

 

 

Civilian/Military Airport Connection (CMAC)

What is CMAC?

The Civilian/Military Airport Connection (CMAC) program helps separating military personnel and new veterans acclimate from managing military airfields to the dynamic and complex commercial-use airport environment.

There are four components to the program:

  1. Professional transition workshop
  2. One airport certification course - choice of ACE Airfield Operations or Certified Member (C.M.)
  3. One year membership in AAAE
  4. Airport job shadowing
