House Clears Coronavirus Relief, FY21 Omnibus Spending Bill

December 21, 2020

The House tonight overwhelming approved a massive 5,593-page bill that includes $900 billion in coronavirus relief and $1.4 trillion in funding for the federal government for Fiscal Year 2021.

The measure now goes to the Senate where Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said earlier today, 'we're going to stay here until we finish tonight.'

The coronavirus relief section includes $2 billion for airports and concessionaires.  It also contains $15 billion to extend the Payroll Support Program for airline workers and another $1 billion for airline contractors.
