Airport Alert: FAA Posts Slide Presentation on CARES Act Grants

The Federal Aviation Administration this morning posted a slide presentation to help explain how the agency intends to distribute $10 billion in CARES Act funding to airports. The presentation may be viewed here. Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, FAA Associate Administrator for Airports Kirk Shaffer and other officials are scheduled to brief airport sponsors during a listen-only teleconference on CARES Act grants today at 12 p.m. Eastern.

Please follow the guidance below from DOT in order to access the briefing:
  • No more than two participants per organization on the call. Dial in times are staggered by regional location and there are separate participant lines and codes to accommodate the large number of attendees.
