After completing his first term on August 4, Pekoske has been serving as the Acting TSA Administrator until today when the full Senate voted to approve his nomination.
AAAE looks forward to continuing its longstanding and well-established relationship with Administrator Pekoske. Following the vote, AAAE President and CEO Todd Hauptli issued the following statement:
'Administrator Pekoske has prioritized service, innovation, and partnership during his time leading TSA," AAAE President and CEO Todd Hauptli said today. "We are thankful he is remaining at the helm of the agency and look forward to building on the notable progress we have made together over the past five years to enhance security and efficiency across the aviation system.'
