Security Policy Alert: Pro-Russian Hacker Group Targets Airport Websites

AAAE is aware of the media reports of airport websites being targeted with Distributed-Denial-of-Service attacks by the pro-Russian hacker group known as "Killnet." We are actively monitoring the situation. It appears that there has been no impact to airport operations at this time.
TSA is working with its Field Intelligence Officers (FIOs) to assess any impact to respective airport and aviation operations. They also reminded airports that the most recent TSA intel product from late April on the Russian group Killnet has been posted on HSIN for reference.
The TSA Intelligence and Analysis Quick Look dated April 26, 2022 is titled "Pro-Russian Hacker Group Increases Distributed-Denial-of-Service Attacks Against U.S. and European Transportation Entities."
