Security Policy Alert: No TSA Monthly Conference Call and New HSIN Postings/Policy Updates

TSA has cancelled the conference call for airport stakeholders originally scheduled for today, January 6, 2022. The next regularly scheduled TSA monthly conference call will be Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
In the meantime, TSA has posted two new policy items on the TSA web board on HSIN.
Information Circular (IC) 17-03C: Cybersecurity at U.S. Airports, with an effective date of January 16, 2022. Minor changes to this existing IC, which has been the basis of a TSA Compliance Special Emphasis Assessment in 2020 and 2021, may be found in bold. TSA has added language regarding the threat of malicious cyber incidents at U.S. airports and other critical infrastructure and has modified the reporting recommendation to reflect the new requirements for airport operators to report incidents to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA).
TSA National Amendment 03-02A: ASC Training Curriculum, with an effective date of February 6, 2022. This technical changes updates TSA job titles and offices, Code of Federal Regulation citations, and document format. There are no significant changes and no new requirements. Changes are in bold.
