Security Policy Alert: TSA Print and Digital Assets to Promote Social Distancing Now Available
June 18, 2020
TSA has shared with AAAE an overview of the print and digital assets that the agency has created to encourage physical distancing throughout the checkpoint and at baggage drop-off areas.
On its June 4 call for airport stakeholders, TSA reported that, in an effort to support passenger education, TSA's Office of Public Affairs was finalizing checkpoint signage related to social distancing and modified de-composure and re-composure procedures. The signage has now been provided to Federal Security Directors (FSDs) in a number of display options, including stanchions, floor stickers, and digital files. TSA encourages airports to work with their FSDs to coordinate the signage to meet local needs, such as digital videos, and to incorporate it into any existing airport signage related to COVID-19 procedures.
As always, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or need any additional information.
