Security Policy Alert: TSA Announces Security Operations Leadership Changes

TSA today shared with AAAE several leadership selections within Security Operations and Enterprise Support.

Melanie Harvey has been named as the Deputy Executive Assistant Administrator for Security Operations.  The position had been vacant after the departure of Tonya Coultas.  Harvey has been with TSA for several years and has served in several positions within Security Operations, most recently as the Acting Assistant Administrator for International Operations.

Gary Renfrow, who currently serves as the Assistant Administrator for Domestic Operations, has been named as the new Assistant Administrator for International Operations.  Paul Fujimaro previously served as the Assistant Administrator for International Operations but now serves as the TSA Senior Liaison Officer to the State Department.  A replacement has not yet been named for the Assistant Administrator position for Domestic Operations.

  • Clifford McCoy - Deputy Assistant Administrator/Chief Security Officer, Security and Administrative Services, Enterprise Support
  • Kenneth "Andy" Lee - Deputy Assistant Administrator, Acquisition Program Management, Enterprise Support
