Regulatory Alert: FAA to Host Webinar Update on BIL Implementation

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Airports announced that they will be hosting a live webinar event detailing the latest information on the agency's effort to implement the Infrastructure and Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), commonly known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). The meeting will be an opportunity for airports to receive an update on the Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) program and the Airport Terminal Program (ATP), including the notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) that was released last week, and ask FAA questions.  
FAA's BIL webinar update will be held virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, March 9, at 12:30-2 p.m. ET. The webinar is open to the leadership team at airports that are eligible for BIL funding. Details on how to access the webinar are provided below. 
The webinar announcement follows FAA's release this week of a new frequently asked questions (FAQ) document that covers a wide range of topics relating to the AIG program and ATP through 70 different questions. Airports are encouraged to review the FAQs before the briefing and provide the FAA Office of Airports and BIL Implementation Team with feedback during the webinar.
