Regulatory Alert: DOT and FAA Schedule a CARES Act Airport Grants Program Briefing

Today the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announced that DOT and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will brief airport sponsors during a listen-only teleconference on the implementation process of the CARES Act program. The briefing will occur on Tuesday, April 14, beginning at 12 p.m. EDT and staggered by region. Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Chao, FAA Associate Administrator for Airports Kirk Shaffer, FAA Deputy Associate Administrator for Airports Winsome Lenfert, and Director of Airport Planning and Programming Robert Craven will be speaking.

Please follow the guidance below from DOT in order to access the briefing:

  • No more than two participants per organization on the call. Dial in times are staggered by regional location and there are separate participant lines and codes to accommodate the large number of attendees.
