Regulatory Alert: FAA to Host Live Qamp;amp;A Webinar on CRSSAA Airport Concessions Relief Grants

This afternoon the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Offices of Airports and Civil Rights announced that they will be hosting a webinar event on Thursday, April 22, at 2 p.m. ET to answer questions on Airport Concessions Relief Grants that have been made available through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriation Act (CRRSAA). FAA's live Q&A event will allow Rob Hawks and Dave Cushing from the Office of Airport Planning and Programming and Gene Roth from the Office of Civil Rights to answer questions about Airport Concessions Relief Grants. You can submit your question before the event or ask it live during the webinar. 
As airports are aware, CRSSAA provided $2 billion in relief for airports and eligible concessionaires, including $1.75 billion for commercial service and certain cargo airports and $200 million to primary airports for concessionaire relief. Although the Q&A event will be focused on CRSSAA and Airport Concessions Relief Grants that have already been made available, we understand that FAA will be using feedback received to also inform its guidance and rollout of the Airport Rescue Grant Program and the $8 billion in funding that has been made available to airports and eligible concessionaires through the American Rescue Plan Act.
