The purpose of the Accreditation Program writing requirement is to demonstrate to the Board of Examiners (BOE) that executive candidates can write effectively on a topic relevant and significant to airport management. Two options for completing the Accreditation program writing requirement are the Management Paper and Case Study. This workshop was developed to assist candidates with the paper writing process and help them understand what the BOE defines as a successful paper.
Who Should Enroll in This Review Class?
- Accreditation program candidates who have not yet completed the writing requirement and do not have a Master's degree.
- Accreditation candidates struggling with the paper writing process.

- Get a jump start on your paper, so you can earn your AAE sooner
- Become familiar with writing in proper APA style
- Learn what the BOE deems to be a successful paper or case study
- Produce a well-written product to be published in the AAAE library for other airport professionals to reference
- Get advice from the AAAE writing coach for a smoother writing/editing process

Molly McCaffrey, Ph.D.
Molly McCaffrey is the author of You Belong to Us (memoir) and How to Survive Graduate School & Other Disasters (stories). She received her Ph.D. in literature from the University of Cincinnati, her M.A. in English from Miami University, and her B.A. in journalism from Indiana University. She also serves as a writing coach for the AAAE Accreditation Program.

Cancellation Policy:
Registrations and cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation requests received before March 8, 2024 are subject to a $125 processing fee and will be processed after the meeting takes place. There will be no refunds after this date. Substitutions will be accepted without penalties and no-shows will be billed. For all inquiries regarding cancellations and refunds, please contact the AAAE Meetings Department at 703.824.0504 or email aaaemeetings@aaae.org. By submitting a completed registration form, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the cancellation policy.

Attire for this Workshop is UOD during the day. Appropriate civilian clothing is acceptable for evening events.
NOTE: AAAE reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event if the number of registrants is insufficient; due to acts of God; or any other reason beyond AAAE’s control. In this event, we will notify all registrants and credit the full registration fee towards another AAAE meeting, product or service. However, any costs incurred by the registrant, such as hotel cancellation or airline penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant. Confirmation letters will be emailed to attendees within two weeks of receipt of registration. However, if you have not received a confirmation email two business days prior to the meeting, and you enrolled at least two weeks prior to the meeting, please contact the AAAE Meetings Department at 703.824.0504 or AAAEmeetings@aaae.org. Please note failure to receive a confirmation letter before an event will not be grounds for a refund.

No. This webinar is intended to benefit candidates in all phases of the paper process, especially those who have not started writing yet.

We will briefly discuss the proctored essay option and techniques for success; however, this webinar will focus mainly on the management paper and case study.
