Flight Procedures: A Four-Dimensional View

Performance Based Navigation (PBN) takes place in four dimensions (X, Y, altitude, and time). And to make PBN flight procedures work, four stakeholder groups each with different "points of view" must work together: FAA, airports, airlines, and international organizations.
This session will bring together these stakeholders to discuss the design and implementation of flight procedures. We'll take a look at topics such as procedure updates, how to engage the FAA regarding airport-sponsored procedure requests, and useful case studies.

Preparing for UAM/UAS - Planning and Sustainability Perspectives

New entrants and what to expect from them has been a conversation at many previous Noise Conferences. This discussion will consider the reasons that airport staff want to be prepared for those new entrants, such as proactive preparations for compatible land use and potential complaints, and how best to prepare given the known facts and expectations today, in 2024.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be sent to meetings@airportscouncil.org no later than January 24, 2025. Registration fees are refundable but subject to a $100 administrative fee. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within 14 business days. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations received after January 24, 2025.

The discounted hotel rate for the traditional room type is $249 CAD for single/double occupancy per night plus applicable taxes. Other category/view room types are available at a higher rate.
