Amy Peters serves as Senior Vice President of Meetings where she leads the strategy, planning, and execution of AAAE's domestic events portfolio. With more than 30 years of experience in association management, Amy is a strategic, collaborative leader recognized for creating exceptional event experiences that educate, connect, and inspire. She is passionate about advancing organizations through innovative meetings, strong partnerships, and high-performing teams.
Before joining AAAE, Amy served as Vice President of Conferences, Meetings & Events at NIC and Vice President of Events at ASIS International, where she led one of the security industry's premier global conferences. She also held leadership and event production roles with the American College of Cardiology, ACI-NA, and the American Meat Institute.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from The Pennsylvania State University and is an active member of ASAE, PCMA, and the Freeman Customer Advisory Group. She lives in Maryland with her husband, enjoys spending time with their four adult children, and is a devoted Penn State football fan.
