Through strategic engagement with lawmakers, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders, we champion initiatives that drive innovation, enhance safety, secure funding, and ensure the long-term success of our nation's airports.

Whether we're influencing legislation, shaping regulatory frameworks, or mobilizing industry voices, we remain at the forefront of advocacy efforts that make a real and lasting impact.

Federal Affairs Membership:
Strengthening Airport Advocacy

Airports must remain vigilant in advancing the aviation agenda in Washington, and your active participation is critical to ensuring our collective success. Our Federal Affairs Membership supports the work of our Legislative, Transportation Security Policy, and Regulatory departments, ensuring your airport's voice is heard where it matters most.

This exclusive membership offers unparalleled access to real-time policy updates, in-depth regulatory analysis, and expert advocacy on the key issues affecting airports nationwide. Membership is voluntary and organizational—once an airport or company joins, all staff members gain access to the full range of benefits. This calendar-year membership is separate from AAAE individual dues, with renewal notices sent annually to airport directors.

U.S. Contract Tower Association

Since 1996, the U.S. Contract Tower Association (USCTA) has been a leading advocate for the FAA’s Contract Tower Program, working to enhance aviation safety and operational efficiency at smaller airports. By representing the interests of contract tower airports, USCTA plays a crucial role in ensuring the continued success of this cost-effective program.

USCTA actively engages with key stakeholders, including Congress, the Department of Transportation, the FAA, the National Transportation Safety Board, the Government Accountability Office, and the DOT Inspector General, to address policy, funding, and regulatory issues affecting contract towers. Through ongoing collaboration and dedicated advocacy, USCTA helps secure critical resources and policy support to maintain and expand safe air traffic control services nationwide.
