Aviation Emerging Leader Program
The aviation industry is rapidly growing, necessitating the development of young professionals poised to make significant contributions. The Aviation Emerging Leaders Program is designed to offer mentorship, leadership, and collaborative opportunities.
As a participant, you will enhance your skills during a dynamic time in your career and stand out as a leader among your peers. Upon completion of the six pillars, AAAE will recognize you as an Aviation Emerging Leader, awarding you a special pin, certificate, and digital badge. This achievement will be celebrated on social media and at the annual Emerging Leaders Conference. The program will take approximately one year, and your progress can be tracked via your AAAE account. If you have questions, please contact member.services@aaae.org.

Membership in AAAE national and one AAAE regional chapter

Earn the C.M. designation
-
Enroll in Mentor Match as a mentee and take part in a mentoring relationship for one year

Active involvement in the YoPro Committee—attendance at monthly calls and working groups

Become an active member of a non-YoPro committee at the regional or national level

Attend the Emerging Leaders Conference and one other AAAE national or regional conference or training

Process
- Enroll in the Aviation Emerging Leader Program
- Track and report progress through your AAAE account:
- Validate your mentoring relationship by having your mentor send an email confirming the relationship
- Document your chapter committee memberships and participation in chapter events
- AAAE staff will validate other activities when completed, including:
- Membership
- Professional Development Activities
- National Committee Participation
- National Meeting Registration/Attendance
- Upon completion, you will receive an AEL pin, certificate, and letter of achievement
Recognition
Members will:
- Receive a letter, pin, and certificate of completion
- Receive a digital badge
- Be highlighted on social media
- Be announced during the Emerging Leaders Conference
