Many airports that participate in the FAA Contract Tower program have been raising increasing concerns about how the controller shortage is impacting operations at their towers.
Due to staffing challenges, some towers have had to reduce their operating hours or go to ATC-Zero. Needless to say, those events can adversely impact FCT airports as they strive to be as safe and efficient as possible.
USCTA is trying to obtain some data on this topic. Please take a couple of minutes to complete this short survey that includes questions about controller staffing at your airport.
